Virtua, one of the leading swiss web agencies, contracted link-u to incorporate its chat technology in a revolutionnary product for java device, GOSMS. This applications uses an HTTP gateway to send SMS messages at half the price of national operators. The same application includes an interface to link-u's real time chat engine allowing people to invite one or several people (via cheaper SMS) to a real-time chat.
GOSMS has a proven business model where customers pay a small amount on a per-caracter basis, making chat cheaper than SMS but still a viable business.
